What's your story?
I grew up in a suburb about 45 minutes north of Boston, Massachusetts. I played just about every sport there is but skiing was my everything. My whole family moved out to Park City, Utah when I was 14. It's absolute paradise having some of the best ski resorts in the world right here in my back yard. I ended up going to 4 different high schools while trying to make skiing work with going to school. Skiing ended up giving me the opportunity to travel the world with my best friends and have the most amazing experiences.
When did you get into skiing and how'd you get so dang good?
I learned how to ski when I was 2 years old at a little ski hill about 15 minutes from my house in MA called Bradford. A couple of years later I started racing and did that for about 9 years. As I got older I got bored with how structured everything was and I really wanted a way to express myself and find new challenges. I ended up in the park where I quickly found my new love. Its been about 8 years now and it has taken me so much further than I ever imagined.
You can only eat one meal for the rest of your life, what do you pick?
Probably chicken piccata. I'm not sure though, I feel like I'd get pretty fat.
What's the big dream?
The big dream is to own my own company that allows me to be a part of any sport I want. Sponsoring athletes, traveling the world, creating amazing content while being financially free.
If I wasn't a skier I'd be a _________.
Photographer for sure. Still lets you be a part of any world I want and its so much fun.
How do you define 'originality’?
Being true to yourself and not letting trends or other people's opinions control you. Just do you.
Any words of advice? / Best advice you ever got?
It might sound kind of cliche, but just be present. Wherever you are, whatever you’re doing, take it all in. Anything can happen.
Anything else you want to add? Feel free to get creative!
I'm not very good at talking about myself.
